What is the Pimpwalk Entrance?
The Pimpwalk Entrance, also called Hold the Door, is a TikTok meme: someone holds a shop door open and a person walks in with an exaggerated, slow, leaned-back strut, as if they own the place.
The joke is older than the trend. On 23 August 2023, @kingsizedtokdad posted how he enters a restaurant or bar on a rare night out and tagged it #pimpwalk. In October 2026 it came back: @mrdanielkimchi posted a door clip on 17 October, whose sound the trend now uses, and on 25 October @mrmiltonfrost posted an AI version in a burger shop at night, with a white-haired friend at the door and a 1970s dandy walking in. From 31 October, CapCut templates and #pimpwalktrend spread it further.
Pimpwalk skips the filming. Add your photos and the AI makes the same 14-second scene with your faces, hair and clothes.

10 to 12 s: the lean in
Still low, the walker comes right up to the lens, then starts to rise.

12 to 14 s: the card
The walker stands tall in the close-up and fans their face with the red card, the door holder still dancing behind.

The short answer
To make the Pimpwalk Entrance video, add a head-to-toe photo for the person who walks in and one for the person who holds the door. On your own, use our example for one of the two. Pick Standard (480p) or HD (720p) and press Generate. You get a 14-second 3:4 MP4 with the sound, usually in under 10 minutes: one handheld take in a small shop at night, from the held door to the low strut and the red card in the close-up. A video costs from 100 credits, and if it fails the credits go back automatically.
Pimpwalk Entrance FAQ
What is the Pimpwalk Entrance trend?
A TikTok meme where someone holds a shop door open and a person walks in with a slow, low, leaned-back strut. It goes back to a 2023 post by @kingsizedtokdad and took off again in October 2026, helped by an AI version from @mrmiltonfrost and CapCut templates. People also call it Hold the Door or the walking into the barbershop meme.
How do I make the Pimpwalk Entrance video with my photo?
Add a photo for the person who walks in and one for the person who holds the door, choose Standard (480p) or HD (720p) and press Generate. You sign in only when you generate. The video is usually ready in under 10 minutes and waits in My videos; we also email you when it is done.
Can I make it on my own?
Yes. Add your photo to the position you want and use our example person for the other one. The example is made up, not a real person.
Can my friend hold the door?
Yes. Add a photo of each of you, with your friend in the Holds the door slot. They need to have agreed to it, and both of you must be 18 or older.
What photo works best?
One person, head to toe, face sharp and toward the camera, in good light. The clothes in your photo are the clothes in the video, so wear what you want to walk in with.
Which song is in the Pimpwalk Entrance?
The trend uses the TikTok sound "original sound - mrdanielkimchi". Your video comes with it. The sound belongs to its owner and we give you no rights to it, so follow each platform's music rules, especially for ads or paid posts.
How long is the video, and what format is it?
14 seconds, a 3:4 MP4 with the sound. Standard is 480p and HD is 720p.
How much does a video cost?
Standard (480p) costs 100 credits and HD (720p) costs twice that. Credit packs are a one-time payment, valid for 365 days from purchase. There is no subscription.
Is this the CapCut template?
No. Pimpwalk runs in your browser, with no app and no editing. You add photos and press Generate.
Is this the Pimp Named Slickback dance?
No. That is a different dance meme. The Pimpwalk Entrance is the held door, the slow low strut and the red card at the end.
What if the video fails?
If a video fails, times out or does not pass our content check, the credits go back to your balance automatically.
Can I post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts?
